PCSW Task Team: Marketing and Outreach
Why you joined the PCSW Board: As a graduate student, it's sometimes more difficult to stay involved on a campus-wide level. Women's issues have always been close to my heart, so PCSW was a natural fit.

Donna Harris
dsharris@pdx.edu
This is my first year on the commission. On campus I have two roles. My first role is as the Assistant to the Director of the Institute on Aging. My second role is as a full-time student at Portland State University. I was interested in the commission as I am a single mom with a college freshman and a kindergartner and I know first hand the hardships that many single parent students experience.
My goal is to find resources in the community that will provide opportunities for single parents to be successful as parents and students.
